- HELPING OTHERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE -

'Climate Change and its Consequences': the talk addresses the dilemma our future leaders will be facing in the context of climate change, global warming and its consequences.
We look at where we are now, how we arrived at this point and where we are heading. Most importantly, we consider what the leaders of tomorrow can do about mitigating its impact and how they will need to go about this.

'The Art of Effective Leadership In An Ever Changing World' considered the skill sets that will be required of the next generation of leaders, with particular regard to Artificial Intellligence, Robotics and Nanotechnology and their applications for finding solutions for the many challenges ahead, including Waste Management, Food and Water Security, Industry, Medicine, Hospitality and Tourism, etc.
'Listen To The Ocean' is all about the impact of environmental degradation and pollution and the devastating impact it is having on the seas. The talk proposes solutions that everyone can connect with - an imperative if the oceans are to be saved, and consequently the Earth

'Future Shock - Embracing Change In An Over Heating World' focusses on the impact of Global Warming and how we must use science to mitigate the problems facing the world. These are embraced in the concept of the '4th Industrial Revolution' and places emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Nanotechnology and how these concepts are and will be applied
'CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES -
THE DILEMMA FOR THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW'
Assigning blame for the causes of climate change and global warming is an unproductive activity and achieves nothing. It’s happening and whatever anyone says, there is frankly little to nothing that can be done about it. However, time and effort spent looking for ways to MITIGATE THE IMPACT of global warming is a different matter altogether and is something that we definitely CAN DO something about.

The Mombasa Lectures

'Finding solutions to the plight of Mombasa’s disenfranchised youth' was the theme of two seminars. The first presentation was to a crowd of hundreds of young men and women, whose future employment and prospects of achieving their true potential are uncertain. Practical advice was proposed and a realistic approach to moving forward was discussed and vigorously debated afterwards.
The proposal hinged critically on the involvement of Mombasa’s regional government and senior business community, and it was to a large gathering of them that the second presentation advocated the benefits of engagement with the bright, energized and enthusiastic young people.
The uniquely creative solutions presented under the banner of 'MAKE IT HAPPEN', were discussed late into the night, emphasising that this is clearly a potent issue. The seminars were a great success and have resulted in a register being created to facilitate the engagement of the two groups.
